About SkinBit
SkinBit is building the future of skin cancer screening. Our AI-powered Sentinel Scanner performs full-body dermoscopic imaging, making early detection accessible at scale. We're opening our flagship clinic in Los Angeles in Q3 2026 and need someone in Paris to drive our software products from concept to launch.
This isn't theoretical - we have a scanner arriving, a clinic opening, and patients coming. We need someone who can execute.
The Role
You'll drive execution across the entire software product suite that makes SkinBit work as a business:
Patient-facing mobile app - booking, results, education, engagement
In-scanner patient experience - UI/UX during the scan, patient guidance, comfort features
Patient workflow systems - check-in, preparation instructions, post-scan process, results delivery
Back office systems - clinic operations, workflow management, scanning protocols
Dermatologist platform - image review, diagnosis workflow, patient communication
Billing & insurance - claims submission, reimbursement tracking, payment processing
Data infrastructure - working with our Medplum EHR to maintain control for FDA submissions
You will work directly with our CEO. Your job is to manage priorities and execution on the ground in Paris - work with the engineering team daily, make trade-off decisions to keep delivery on track, and communicate clearly across time zones to ensure alignment. You're the bridge between strategy and execution.
This is a 0→1 execution role. We're pre-launch. You'll be building these systems from scratch with the constraint that we need core functionality live for Q3 2026 patients.
What You'll Do
Manage execution priorities to deliver on the strategic roadmap - decide what gets built when, make trade-offs, and manage scope
Translate strategy into action - turn high-level direction into detailed specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Drive daily execution with the Paris engineering team through sprint planning, standups, dependency tracking, and unblocking
Communicate relentlessly across time zones - keep LA leadership aligned with Paris execution reality through clear, proactive updates
Bridge the gap between CEO vision and engineering constraints - surface blockers early, propose solutions, manage expectations
Make tactical decisions independently on implementation approaches, technical trade-offs, and scope adjustments within strategic guardrails
Navigate healthcare complexity, including HIPAA compliance, FDA data requirements, and insurance workflows
Own the delivery timeline - you're accountable for shipping core functionality by Q3 2026
Ship iteratively - get MVP in patients' hands, then learn and improve
You Should Have
6+ years product management or technical program management experience, ideally with at least one 0→1 product launch
Exceptional communication skills - you can distill complex technical issues into clear updates, you over-communicate rather than under-communicate, you write crisp status reports, you know how to escalate issues without drama
Remote leadership experience - you've successfully coordinated teams when key stakeholders are in different time zones
Strong execution DNA - you're the person who makes sure things actually get done on time
Technical fluency - you can talk architecture with engineers and understand technical trade-offs
Healthcare or regulated environment experience - you understand compliance constraints, complex workflows
Priority management skills - you can make hard trade-off decisions about what ships when
Startup experience - you've built products under resource constraints with ambiguity
Bias for action - you ship imperfect products and iterate rather than waiting for perfection
Native-level English - you'll work with US-based clinical and business teams daily, communication clarity is critical
Nice to Have
Experience with medical devices, diagnostic workflows, or clinical software
Physical product/hardware integration experience (working with scanners, kiosks, or medical devices)
Familiarity with FHIR standards or headless EHR systems (we use Medplum)
Mobile app product experience (iOS/Android)
Understanding of AI/ML product development
Experience managing outsourced or offshore engineering teams
Fluent in English
