React-Native Engineer - Paris - France

Full-time On-Site | Paris

About SkinBit

SkinBit is building a new generation of skin cancer screening powered by advanced imaging hardware and AI. At the center of this platform is a mobile ecosystem of applications used by patients, clinicians, and on-site staff to manage the entire screening journey—from booking and preparation to scan results and follow-up.

These are not demo apps. They are clinical-facing, patient-facing, and business-critical systems. Visual precision, clarity, and consistency are not “nice to have” — they are part of product correctness.

We are hiring a senior React Native engineer to own the mobile foundation of the SkinBit platform.

The Role

You will design, build, and own SkinBit’s mobile ecosystem, spanning multiple applications and user personas.

This role requires high autonomy and high standards.

Pixel-perfect implementation is the baseline. Anything less is considered incomplete work.

You are expected to translate designs into production code with exact visual fidelity, consistent spacing, typography, colors, and interaction details across iOS and Android — using the design system as the single source of truth.

You will work closely with design, product, backend, and platform teams, but you are not waiting for hand-holding. You take ownership, make decisions, and ship.

What You’ll Do

Own the Mobile Applications End-to-End

  • Design and build React Native applications used by:

    • Patients (booking, results, reports, education, follow-up)

    • Clinical and on-site staff (workflow, preparation, scan coordination)

  • Own features from design handoff to production release

  • Take responsibility for the final user experience — not just “working code”

Pixel-Perfect, Design-System–Driven Execution

  • Implement designs with pixel-perfect accuracy:

    • Layout

    • Spacing

    • Typography

    • Color

    • Interaction states

  • Treat the design system as non-negotiable infrastructure, not suggestions

  • Build reusable, composable components that strictly adhere to design tokens

  • Collaborate with designers to resolve ambiguities — never approximate

Mobile Architecture & Quality

  • Design scalable, maintainable mobile architectures

  • Ensure consistent rendering and behavior across iOS and Android

  • Own performance, responsiveness, and visual stability

  • Handle offline, degraded network, and synchronization scenarios gracefully

Backend & Platform Integration

  • Integrate mobile apps with backend APIs and platform services

  • Work with platform engineers on:

    • Authentication and authorization

    • Secure data handling

    • Data synchronization

Production Ownership

  • Own testing, debugging, and release processes

  • Fix visual and functional regressions proactively

  • Maintain quality under real clinical usage conditions

You Should Have

Background

  • Strong experience shipping production React Native applications

  • Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision

Core Skills

  • React Native, TypeScript, modern React patterns

  • Demonstrated experience working with design systems

  • Strong eye for visual detail — spacing, alignment, typography matter

  • Component-driven development using tokens and shared primitives

  • Mobile app architecture and state management

  • API integration and asynchronous data handling

Quality Bar & Mindset

  • Pixel-perfect is your default standard

  • You do not ship “close enough”

  • You proactively catch and fix visual inconsistencies

  • You take pride in craft and correctness

Nice to Have

  • Experience with healthcare or regulated environments

  • Offline-first or sync-heavy mobile applications

  • Close collaboration with design teams

  • Familiarity with mobile CI/CD and release pipelines

  • Experience integrating mobile apps with hardware or on-site systems

Why Join SkinBit

  • Craft matters here: visual quality is part of product correctness

  • High autonomy: you are trusted to own decisions and outcomes

  • Real impact: your work is used by patients and clinicians

  • Deep-tech environment: mobile tightly coupled with hardware and AI

  • Fast iteration: short feedback loop from design to production

Logistics

  • Location: France (Paris preferred), full-time on-site

  • Employment type: Permanent, full-time (CDI)

  • Reporting: CTO

  • Level: Senior

  • Compensation: Competitive salary + equity (depending on profile)

If “pixel-perfect” feels subjective or negotiable to you, this role is not a fit!
